With over 26 years of employee benefit experience, Dan has considerable expertise in employee benefit plans for the construction and professional services industries.
Dan focuses on marketing, governmental compliance issues and funding arrangements for medium to large sized employer-sponsored group benefit plans.
Dan started his career in 1984, after graduating from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting, as a life and disability agent with Northwestern Mutual Life.
In 1987 he then went to work for Regence Blue Shield of Idaho as a district marketing representative. Before joining Western Benefit Solutions in 2003, he served for more than 8 years as an employee benefit consultant with Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Dan is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC). He is a current member, and also a past state president and legislative chairman of the Idaho Health Underwriters Association as well as an active member of the Employee Benefit Institute of America.
