Barbara graduated from Saint Mary’s College, CA (1996) with a B.A. in Health and Human Performance, and played Basketball on a full ride scholarship.
She moved to Boise in 1998 working at St. Lukes Internal Medicine, assisting patients with HMO referrals. In 1999 she was hired on with a local consulting firm where she became a licensed agent. She provided Customer Service, COBRA Administration, Inside Sales of Individual and Group products. She also processed RFPs, claims for HRA along with group setup and enrollment.
She joined Western Benefit Solutions in May 2005. Barbara is in charge of our Individual Coverage and COBRA market. She joins us as our Individual Policies specialist, however, also oversees our efforts to educate our clients regarding Medicare Part D legislation. Her responsibilities also fall under the category of Technical Services and Underwriting. Barbara provides monthly and quarterly claims experience reporting for our clients in that capacity. She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Barbara is married and has a son.
